In response to the current situation with COVID-19 virus and confirmed case(s) in Hockley county and other locations within our service delivery area, SPCAA has activated and implemented an Emergency Response Plan – which examines all areas of business operations at every SPCAA program site – and have taken actions to ensure continued services to our vulnerable population.
First and foremost, our plan ensures the health and safety of our employees, because without them, SPCAA is unable to serve the vulnerable population. Part of our plan is to limit exposure from outside sources entering our offices. These precautionary measures are being taken to limit the spread of the virus.
Our senior leadership team remains vigilant and is monitoring the situation in real time and responding rapidly as conditions evolve.
Our SPCAA offices will remain operational until such time or otherwise ordered by government to close. If such a situation were to happen, SPCAA is prepared to continue providing service to the public via remote log-in by laptop, emails and phone calls.
The SPCAA cares about the Entire Community.
Empowering Communities Through Self-Sufficiency.
