South Plains Community Action Association, Inc. has partnered with Coalition of Community Assistance Volunteers (CCAV) of Lubbock to assist in the preparation and e-filing of SPCAA’s clients’ federal income taxes. This tax preparation effort is free of charge to qualifying individuals and households, and hundreds of dollars can be saved by not paying preparation, e-filing or loan fees. Taxes are being prepared and reviewed by certified, IRS-trained tax professionals with years of experience. All tax returns are prepared according to IRS guidelines.

Required Documentation
The documentation needed to provide tax preparation includes all W-2 and 1099 Forms from everywhere a taxpayer worked in the tax year, original Social Security cards for taxpayers and all dependents, a Government-issued photo ID for all taxpayers, a copy of last year’s tax return (if available) and a voided check (for direct deposit of your refund).
