Primary responsibility is coordinating rural public transportation activities within the 17 county region. Must be able to maintain an efficient data flow system in a fast paced environment, use various software systems, and assume scheduling and dispatching responsibilities as assigned. Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug test and, upon employment, be willing to take and pass additional drug and alcohol tests as may be required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for “safety sensitive" employees. Employees are subject to: random pool selection, reasonable cause, post -accident, and return to duty testing procedures. GED/High School Diploma. Ability to understand instruction without constant supervision is essential. Ability to work and communicate effectively with people from diverse socioeconomic and culture backgrounds. Ability to read and write in the English language. Bilingual preferred.
