Melinda Harvey contributes a substantial amount to South Plains Community Action Association (SPCAA) as its Grants Writer. With a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans, Melinda has cultivated a unique blend of skills perfectly tailored for community action.

Since joining the agency in 2009, Melinda has played a pivotal role in securing crucial funding through her adept grant writing abilities. Her knack for crafting clear, concise proposals has resulted in numerous successful grants, furthering SPCAA's mission of Helping People. Changing Lives. 

Outside of her role at the agency, Melinda channels her creativity through photography. Her work has garnered recognition both domestically and internationally, with exhibitions spanning across the United States and Canada!
