Roger Cardenas – Deputy Director
Roger Cardenas serves as the Deputy Director of South Plains Community Action Association (SPCAA) bringing over 25 years of dedicated service to the organization. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University and a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in Private and Non-Profit Management, also from Texas Tech University.
Throughout his tenure at SPCAA, Roger has demonstrated unwavering commitment and expertise in various capacities. He has served as the Workforce Director, Transportation Director, Community Services Director, and Housing Director, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of community needs. Currently, Roger serves as the Director of Health Services, where he continues to make significant contributions to the well-being of the community.
As a Certified Community Action Professional, Roger's leadership and dedication have been instrumental in advancing the mission of Helping People. Changing Lives.
Outside of his professional commitments, Roger is an avid reader and enjoys traveling with his wife, Angela, and their two children, Wilson and Sophia. Wilson is currently pursuing his studies as a Freshman at the University of Texas at Austin, while Sophia is a Sophomore at Frenship ISD.
